Growing up an Air Force brat, I was able to live not only all across our great nation, but also overseas.  I fell absolutely in love with Germany after living there when I was younger.  I still dream of going back one day, and my life won't be complete until I do and get to take my son!  I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in English and History, and then completed my Master's in Children's Literature at Penn State.  I have spent the last eight years teaching middle and high school English and Social Studies.

I believe that being an AF brat as a child is what really fostered my love of photography.  I wanted to capture all of the breathtaking and amazing things I was getting to experience and see as I traveled the world.  Then I realized there are plenty of things for me to capture here at home (which is where you come in).  When I'm not teaching or out snapping pictures, I can be found doing my absolute favorite thing, spending time with my son!
